Derek Purchase

Derek began his career as a civil engineer working for companies throughout the South West of England and Wales.

He has worked with several Councils and Housing Associations to support them in improving their health and safety function through a range of advising, audit, training and support roles.

Derek has also worked as a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor on a number of national projects and with major contractors such as Morgan Sindal and Sir Robert McAlpine. Key to Derek’s success is strong communication skills, ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to quickly gain the confidence of staff.
