Regulation

We have in-depth knowledge of the regulatory requirements for social housing. We work with many registered providers to ensure they understand the regulatory frameworks and can demonstrate compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing, the Housing Ombudsman and the Building Safety Regulator.

We can support organisations with self-assessments, reviews and provide mock inspections. If areas for improvement are identified, we can work with you to address these by providing pragmatic advice based on our team’s many years of practitioner experience in the sector.

Strategy

A clearly defined and well communicated corporate strategy is critical for the success of any business. We have decades of experience in helping housing and other organisations to analyse their markets, define their strategic priorities and shape their mission, vision and values into ambitious and forward-looking strategies.

We can work with you to develop your Corporate Plan across all levels of your organisation. From business planning, including funding and treasury management, to service level, such as asset management and development. We also support with team and individual plans and targets.

Our service extends to evaluating current and future market positioning including new business and opportunities for partnerships and mergers.

Governance

Regulatory requirements across the UK all stress the importance of good governance. This applies not only to existing assets, but the development of new homes and importantly ensuring the needs of customers now and in the future are met. Our leaders set the tone and shape the organisational culture. They must inspire the confidence of both staff and residents through their actions and behaviours. Good governance requires our leaders to be highly skilled and determined to remain relentlessly focussed on the things that matter.
