Bob is a committed and focussed health and safety professional. His pragmatic approach to risk, safety management and compliance draws from military (regular and reserve), local authority (enforcement) and over 20 years’ experience in social housing.

He believes that for safety and compliance management to be fully effective it must centre upon proportionate, achievable and controls that are embedded within normal management practice.

Bob’s recent role as Director of Health and Building Safety for a large RSL worked closely with DLUCH and the Building Safety Regulator helping ensure the needs of retirement housing providers were understood.

Away from work Bob is a keen motorcyclist and enjoys renovating classic cars and bikes.
