Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC): Identification guidance
We have received many enquiries about RAAC from clients and our colleagues at CHIC Ltd are responding to those enquiries.
Understandably there are a range of concerns being expressed by Boards. The government’s advice is helpful and suggests that a first-stage review can be carried out without the engagement of surveyors. We thought it might be helpful for readers to reference that advice and have it as a helpful aide memoire.
The National Housing Maintenance Forum have also published some useful guidance on their website which you can visit here.
We are, of course, happy to help clients in any way we can, so if you require support, get in touch with Jack Ostrofsky for an informal chat.
