ARK Amble: Striding for Change Fundraiser

At ARK, the spirit of giving is alive and well as the team prepares for our annual ARK Amble. This year’s virtual challenge is not only a test of endurance but also a heartfelt effort to support St Basils, a charity dedicated to helping homeless young people. This December, a group of dedicated colleagues will collectively cover an impressive 1,500 miles, virtually reaching our farthest north, east, south and west clients in the UK.

St Basils, works tirelessly with young people aged 16-25 facing homelessness. The charity aims to empower these young individuals by assisting them in finding and maintaining a home, fostering confidence, honing skills and expanding opportunities.

Starting on 1^st December, the virtual walk kicks off at St Basil’s headquarters in Birmingham. The route then takes the team south to Cornwall Council offices, east to Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council, north to Falkirk Council, and finally west to Arbour Housing Association in Northern Ireland before concluding back at St Basils.

Come rain or shine, our team is committed to logging their walking miles daily throughout December. Each team member’s efforts will contribute to the collective goal of reaching 1,500 miles by the end of the month.
