ALMO – Compliance self-assessment


We had worked with the ALMO previously so we knew some parts of its service well. However, we drew on a large amount of evidence provided by the organisation and from a range of other sources. This gave us an understanding of how it functioned and its outcomes. We tested this through focus groups with tenants, managers and staff.

This evidence has informed the ALMO’s self-assessment against the consumer standards and the actions that result.


The ALMO performs well in many areas. However, it now has a good understanding of some areas for improvement to respond to changing regulatory expectations. It also has a focus on how to evidence its strong compliance.
