Wendy Farmer

Wendy has 36 years’ experience in the affordable housing sector, in Scotland and England, working for local authorities, housing associations and co-operatives.

Most recently she managed the development team within a medium sized housing association in Edinburgh and was responsible for delivering a new build programme averaging 100 homes a year, alongside policy development, and co-ordination of the organisation’s sustainability group.  Previously Wendy worked in local authority regeneration, housing co-operative development and also, earlier in her career, in housing management.

Outside of work Wendy enjoys climbing Munros, cycling, travel and the cinema
