Sarah Ireland can support with SAHP 2026 to 2036 bids

Sarah is an experienced housing professional with a strong record of setting and delivering asset management and growth strategies in the sector at Executive Director level.

She is a former Executive Director at bpha and most recently at Accent Housing, where she secured Homes England Strategic Partner status for the organisation, leading the transition of the development function from a small S106 programme of sub 50 homes to deliver 500 new homes a year through land led and regeneration schemes.  She also led on a new corporate strategy, operational plan and performance framework and recently performed the role of interim CEO.  

Sarah has spent her career developing relationships with stakeholders and key partners to improve the quality of new homes, existing homes, and tenant services. She is a motivated self-starter, an influential strategic leader, and is passionate about providing affordable, sustainable housing. She has led on development, asset management, sales and growth across the sector in numerous roles, delivering new build homes, improving customer satisfaction and driving business performance during periods of significant change. Sarah takes a commercial approach to business decisions that relate to the social housing operating environment and has an extensive understanding of the regulatory environment in relation to both activity and decision making.
