Nicola Gratton
Associate
Nicola is an independent co-production specialist, researcher, evaluator and trainer. She has extensive experience of youth work, community development practice, higher education and participatory action research and is passionate about making a real difference alongside communities.
Nicola supports communities to have a voice and drive systems change through meaningful and empathetic engagement, strong strategic leadership and working collaboratively with people in positions of power. She is skilled at translating complex ideas into accessible, engaging formats that help communities to shape decisions that affect them.
As an evaluator and researcher, she develops participatory and creative methods that generate insight, create opportunities for learning, and ensure community perspectives shape project development. Nicola is a skilled strategic leader, grounded by a people centred approach through which she supports organisations to meaningfully engage communities by designing processes that are inclusive, accessible, and grounded in lived experience
