Martin Wilkie-McFarlane

Martin has forty years’ experience encompassing employment within Local Authorities, Registered Social Landlords and community housing projects in both Scotland and London.
He has worked in private sector housing and property management in France and for the UK’s largest housing charity in a national role. Between 2013 and 2016, he used those skills to develop tackling poverty and inequalities initiatives within a local authority and to set up a new advice charity in Stirling. In early 2016, Martin returned to social housing at a chief officer level.
Martin has experience as a governing body member of several charities and housing associations, including a being a non-executive Director for both the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and the Lintel Trust.
Martin has an MA in Housing, awarded with Distinction, from the University of Westminster.
