John is an experienced resident engagement and EDI specialist with a proven track record across the social housing, public sector and not-for-profit landscape.
Formerly Resident Engagement & Experience Manager at Housing 21, he led national engagement, culture change, inclusion and research programmes across more than 650 services, delivering sector-leading Tenant Satisfaction Measures response rates and strengthening regulatory confidence. John now consults across the housing sector, supporting organisations to embed meaningful resident voice, improve equality and inclusion practice, listen to easy-to-ignore voices, and translate consumer standards into operational reality.
Earlier in his career, he led award-winning employability programmes for disabled people at ENABLE Scotland and has redesigned reasonable adjustment frameworks in multiple regulated environments.
John holds a CIPD Level 7 qualification with Distinction and brings strategic insight, a values-driven approach, and hands-on delivery experience to organisations seeking cultural improvement and resident-centred excellence.
