John is a Chartered PR Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in strategic communications, specialising in helping organisations tell their stories clearly, confidently, and with purpose. He has worked across housing, health, and commercial sectors, bringing a calm, creative, and collaborative approach to every challenge.
He has held senior leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, most recently as Assistant Director of PR & Communications at a London borough owned housing not-for-profit, where he led the organisation’s communications strategy, significantly increasing engagement and visibility. Prior to that, he transformed the communications function at a housing association, delivering measurable improvements in staff engagement, digital presence, and value for money.
Additionally, John has trained senior leaders across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East in crisis communications, media skills, and stakeholder engagement. His clients have included global real estate firms, NHS bodies, and international NGOs.
John is known for his ability to simplify complex issues, build trust with stakeholders, and deliver communications that make a real difference. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Non-Executive Directors’ Association.
