Jo has over 25 years of experience in the housing sector, working in large and small local authorities in both urban and rural areas.
Her areas of expertise are affordable housing delivery, strategy and policy development, homelessness, housing allocations and regulatory compliance. In recent years, she has been focused on leading teams through major transformation and change, including local government reorganisation. Jo has also led and managed wider council services including sport and leisure, libraries, community development, community safety and collaboration with voluntary sector organisations. She is passionate about integrating services and working in partnership to create positive outcomes for customers and local communities.
Outside work Jo enjoys pilates, yoga, hiking and European travel, especially in Italy.
