David Guy
Assistant Director
David has worked at executive and senior level within the housing, regeneration, property, and community sectors, for over thirty years, on behalf of housing associations, local authorities, and partnerships. He has also been a board member for several West Midlands housing providers and a panel member for BBC Children in Need.
David has been responsible for the successful delivery of asset management, customer experience, responsive and planned maintenance, building safety/compliance, facilities management, and community development services. He is recognised as a safe pair of hands from both a strategic and operational delivery perspective, who is solution focused, pragmatic and able to adeptly manage the requirements of multiple stakeholders.
Prior to joining ARK, David has undertaken a wide range of interim and project management roles for clients such as Platform Housing, Sanctuary, L&Q, Notting Hill Genesis, Westminster City Council, Anchor Hanover, Accent Group and Paradigm Housing. He specialises in programme/project management, service improvement, relationship management, contract review/mobilisation and grant funding.
David brings positive energy and enthusiasm, alongside a wealth of knowledge and experience when working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for all. In his spare time, he is also a self-confessed sci-fi geek, whilst spending way too much time with Lego. He also currently sits on Severn Trent’s Community Grants Panel.
