Account Manager – Central Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) ARK Consultancy Limited
Location Birmingham
£35,000 – £40,000 per annum – plus car allowance
The Opportunity
A great opportunity to join the Central Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC) team in Birmingham, a consortium focusing on collaborative asset management solutions, including direct materials procurement for responsive repairs, planed investment and new development works.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will work closely with the CHIC management and team members providing operational support services to all of CHICs members. Success in the role will mean the increase in membership organisations, and maximising opportunities for existing Members to secure efficiencies.
Key Accountabilities
- The provision of account management support to CHIC Members
- The promotion of CHICs contracts and frameworks to ensure that Members secure maximum efficiencies
- To increase the Membership and the identification of business growth opportunities
- To work closely with CHICs e-commerce providers and in-house catalogue management colleagues to ensure effective transactions
The Person
The sort of person who will succeed in the role is likely to have most of the following attributes:
- Experience of working within an Asset Management or responsive repairs environment
- Experience of delivering business growth and expansion
- Excels in communication, able to engage, influence and persuade at all levels and a good listener, capturing feedback, ideas and market intelligence to feed back into the organisation.
- Intellectual rigour, analytical, numerate, excellent presentation skills
- Track record of delivering value to clients and achieving sales targets
Terms and Conditions
Job Type; Full-Time
The salary will be related to experience. There is an annual leave entitlement of 22 days per annual excluding bank holidays rising to 25 days. The role is based at our headquarters in Birmingham, with some national travel required.
