Hometrack has published its latest UK Cities House Price Index for October 18 reporting that house price inflation is currently sitting at 3.2% annually, with growth ranging from +7.7% in Leicester to -2.8% in Aberdeen, a total of 6 cities have registered growth above 6% with London prices falling by -0.4%
The report suggests any impact from Brexit is limited, with lead housing indicators showing no imminent deterioration in outlook for prices, but uncertainty about Brexit has been a compounding factor in the slowdown of the London market, alongside weaker market fundamentals.
