Showcasing a Successful Development in Watford

By Tim West · 30 July 2026

With the UK Government setting ambitious targets for addressing the UK’s housing shortage, we were delighted to help Watford Community Housing (now part of Chime Housing) showcase their new development, delivered by Howarth Contractors, at Foxgrove Path, South Oxhey.

As a leading social housing consultancy, ARK Consultancy understands development inside and out. To help our clients and partners communicate the real-world impact of their projects, our in-house marketing team provides creative services designed to showcase flagship projects. For Foxgrove Path, we captured the full story of the scheme through a rich mix of visual content—combining high-impact aerial drone imagery and ground photography with in-depth video interviews featuring key project stakeholders.

Our work resulted in a case study video and visual pdf.

Capturing the Scale and Detail

Foxgrove Path delivers 53 high-quality, energy-efficient homes—a mix of 17 affordable rent properties and 36 shared ownership homes. To demonstrate how seamlessly the new scheme integrates into the surrounding neighbourhood, our team deployed professional drone photography. The aerial shots cleanly frame the entire site layout, highlighting features like the new landscaped pond, the dedicated play area, and the solar PV arrays installed on every roof. On the ground, our photography focused on the fine details that earned the scheme LABC Quality Award recognition—from the traditional brick-and-block craftsmanship to the future-ready infrastructure, including air source heat pumps and EV charging points at every property.

Hearing from Key Stakeholders

A successful development is about more than just bricks and mortar; it’s about the strong partnerships behind it. To bring that human element to the forefront, our video team interviewed leadership from Watford Community Housing to reflect on their collaborative venture with Howarth Contractors.

Nick Wright, Group Director of Partnerships at Watford Community Housing

Tina Barnard, Chief Executive at Watford Community Housing, echoed that enthusiasm when discussing the immediate positive impact the scheme will have on the local area:

Telling the Full Story

By pairing project data with authentic visual storytelling, we helped both Watford Community Housing and Howarth Contractors celebrate a milestone project that achieved 100% off-plan reservations on shared ownership properties and delivered homes with exceptionally high energy performance.

Because we know the housing sector, our dedicated marketing team is uniquely placed to help providers and contractors tell their stories effectively. Whether through aerial footage, on-site photography, or video interviews, we help our partners showcase the real value they deliver to communities.
