Understanding Your Performance Through Independent Living Services Benchmarking
We are proud to support an important new benchmarking initiative from Erosh that promises to provide key insights into independent living services across the UK.
About Erosh
Erosh stands as the national consortium for older people’s housing and support services, serving as an essential membership organisation for professionals across the sector. Erosh provides useful resources, expert services and quality standards frameworks to help the sector maintain good practice and respond to evolving challenges.
The Importance of Benchmarking in Older People’s Services
The older people’s housing sector faces unique challenges that require tailored approaches and constant adaptation. With evolving resident needs, changing demographics, new regulations and technological advances, providers must continuously evaluate and improve their services.
Understanding how services, staffing models, costs, and approaches compare to similar organisations provides important insights that can drive strategic decision-making that benefit both providers and residents.
Erosh’s Independent Living Services Benchmarking Project 2025 addresses these needs. The review will examine how services vary across the UK, how different providers have developed services to meet changing sector needs, and how organisations have approached key challenges around service delivery.
Join the Benchmarking Project 2025
ARK has extensive experience supporting landlords through strategic reviews of older persons’ housing, and we understand firsthand the value of being able to compare services and staffing approaches with other providers. That’s why we’re proud to support Erosh’s benchmarking project and encourage all providers of older people’s housing to participate.
The project is open to all organisations providing housing for older people in the UK, with data collection running through September 2025 and reports delivered in October. The costs range from £275 for Erosh members with one scheme to £750 for non-members with six or more schemes.
Don’t miss this opportunity to gain insights into sector performance and best practices. Visit Erosh’s benchmarking page to learn more about the project and download the questionnaire to see the full scope of what will be covered.
