We are actively seeking passionate and qualified Decarbonisation Associates to join our dynamic team. If you are an expert in retrofit coordination, energy efficiency, sustainability, and building safety, we want to hear from you!

We are transforming social housing to reduce carbon footprints and ensure safe, warm, efficient homes for residents. Our work includes advancing building safety, as seen in our recent projects focused on compliance with the latest safety regulations. We are also significantly involved with our clients in the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 3, highlighting our commitment to energy efficiency.

What We Are Looking For:
Retrofit Expertise
- Qualifications: A Level 5 Retrofit Coordination Qualification or a Level 3 Retrofit Assessment Qualification (or higher).
- Experience: At least 5 years in the construction industry, with a strong background in the energy or property sectors.
- Team Leadership: Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
- Surveying: Expertise in working with SHDF/ECO/LAD, including grant funding bid submissions.
- Project Management: Proficiency in overseeing multiple PAS 2035 projects, setting targets, managing risks, and controlling budgets.
- Contractor Oversight: Experience in managing and overseeing contractors.
- Resident Engagement: Skilled in delivering and strategising resident engagement activities concerning retrofit projects.
Decarbonisation Skills
- Assessments and Reporting: Strong background in carrying out energy and sustainability assessments and creating carbon management plans.
- Strategy Implementation: Experience in developing and implementing Environment & Sustainability Management Strategies.
- Client Interaction: Involvement in client carbon and sustainability strategies, ensuring the delivery of project outcomes.
- Standards Compliance: Knowledge of ISO 14001 and other relevant sustainability standards.
- Legal Acumen: Working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Qualifications: A degree in environment, sustainability, or a related field, with a pathway towards IEMA full membership.
Building Safety
- Legislation and Guidance: Extensive knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, fire safety legislation, building regulations, and technical standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience in working with multiple stakeholders to achieve common goals in building safety.
- Safety Cases: Skilled in the creation and management of building safety cases for the Building Safety Regulator.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex building safety issues clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Proficient in analysing complex situations and recommending practical solutions.
- Compliance: Experience with the ‘big 6’ of compliance/building safety, leading compliance or building safety teams.
- Professional Memberships: Membership of IFE, IFSM, or other suitable organisations.
- Qualifications: Recognised qualifications and proven leadership in health and safety, fire safety, and risk management.
