We are delighted to be attending Europe’s largest housing festival in Manchester.

Housing 23 looks set to be a great event and we hope to see you there. This year, we are sponsoring the Insight stage and you can find us on stand G28. Various members of our team will be speakers on stages talking about a wide range of topics. We are looking forward to seeing friends and colleagues – do come and find us for a chat. We also have a magician on our stand so if you want to see some mind blowing magic tricks then you know where to come!

About Housing 23

Housing, Europe’s largest housing festival will take place on 27 – 29 June 2023 at Manchester Central.

These 3 days conference will host 450+ speakers, 8300+ attendees, 10 streams of content, 350+ sponsors and exhibitors plus 60 official fringe events – it is the biggest meeting place for the whole housing sector. A sector that has shown strong commitment, leadership, and drive amidst all the challenges faced in recent time.

Governance, risk, tenant voice, changing and re-setting business plans, the importance of social care, health and housing integration, professionalism, reputation, the cost-of-living crisis, and quality are just a few of the topics you can expect to see discussed at this year’s event.

 

Speakers

Helen Scurr will be chairing a topical session on “Damp and Disrepair: a symptom of a bigger problem?” at Housing 23 on Tuesday 27 June, 10:30am on the Insight Stage. She will be presenting two interesting case studies with Conan McKinley, Director of Assets from Your Housing Group and Stephanie Harrison, Executive Director of Operations from Regenda Group about how they have tackled some tough challenges leading to better outcomes for residents.

Our new Director, Jack Ostrofsky, will be joining an expert panel on the Unlock Net Zero stage. The panel will be discussing ‘Getting reftrofit right with standards and data’ on Tuesday 27 June from 15:30 – 16:30.

Jack will be joined on stage by JacquiBateson from HACT, ClaireBailey-Jones from Novus, RichardBrooks from Anthony Collins and AndyFlook from SAVA.

Our Associate Director, Adrian Redmond will be a key speaker for the “Aiming high for tower block refurbishments – juggling the challenges and risks successfully” session on Wednesday 28th June, 10:30am on the Insight Stage. He will be joined with Kul Bains from Watmos Community Homes and Stephen Gapik from Soltherm External Insulations who will be sharing their learnings from WATMOS’ Tower Block Programme and how they successfully managed the risks and challenges. This session will be chaired by ARK Director, Victoria Tomlinson.
