ARK’s Scottish Housing Roundtable

Kirsty Wells is an experienced housing professional with a career spanning 28 years. The last 25 of these have been with national membership organisations in Scotland and the UK; most recently she was the Director of Consultancy with Housemark.

Kirsty’s passion and expertise lies in housing policy and tenant and resident influence. Kirsty is the inaugural Chair of Women in Social Housing (WISH) in Scotland and previously served eight years as a CIH Scotland board member.

Helen is an experienced housing practitioner and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing, who has influenced housing policy and practice as a Trustee on the CIH National Council.

Helen has worked at executive and senior level with a number of RPs during the last twenty five years, having strategic and operational responsibilities for housing management, housing with care and support, including life line services, asset management and property services. Helen has led on and been involved in a wide spectrum of assignments. These includes housing management, supported housing and independent living service reviews, mergers and acquisitions, Big Lottery employability programmes, social return on investment and corporate social responsibility projects.

Helen is an expert in housing, social enterprise, employment and training, and has worked with a number of housing organisations supporting them in the creation and deployment of new social enterprises and supporting the commercial growth of charities and enterprise businesses.

Helen is passionate about improving people’s life chances through the development of social enterprises which provide access to training and employment opportunities.
