Livv Housing Group- Culture Review

Livv Housing Group provides 13,000 homes across Liverpool and the North West, along with other community services throughout the region. ARK was commissioned to complete a comprehensive cultural assessment to provide an understanding of the existing culture, beliefs, and behaviours across the group.

To achieve this, we conducted an online questionnaire incorporating questions used by over 1,000 companies to enable valid benchmarking, and which led a series of one-to-one focus groups with representation from the executive team, senior managers, and individual business units. This assisted us to get a better understanding of the culture, historical baggage, challenges, and barriers; understanding the changes people perceived were required to achieve the business’ core priorities.

Following the survey, we produced a detailed report and presentation to the board, identifying a series of recommendations for cultural change and transformation. We supported Livv to develop an improvement plan and a behavioural framework for the organisation, and also worked with the management team to embed the changes.
