Background

North Wales Housing is driven by our strong social purpose and values providing homes and services to over 2,700 households across North Wales. We are building upon strong foundations and a proud history. This year we will mark our 50th year in housing and we are excited to build upon that legacy into the future.

We have opportunities for three new Board members to join us and are looking for a Board Vice Chair, a new Chair of our Audit and Risk Committee and a Board member.

Role purpose

We have opportunities for three new Board members to join us and are looking for a Board Vice Chair, a new Chair of our Audit and Risk Committee and a Board member.

Experience of serving on a Board and/or chairing a committee or Board would be an advantage. We are interested in receiving applications from people with a wide range of skills and expertise which include:

  • Finance/accountancy and risk management
  • Housing regulation
  • Housing Policy
  • Development
  • EDI
  • Digital Solutions

The Board as part of its commitment to better represent our local communities throughout North Wales, wants to encourage and attract members from local Black and Minority Ethnic communities and/or members of disability or other under-represented groups to join the NWH Board. Board diversity, in the widest sense, is important because it creates more balanced decision making to ensure that we act with the interests of our customers at our heart.
