Director of Assets (Habinteg)

Based: London / Bradford/ Leeds with hybrid working – a minimum of two days per week in the office is required.

About the Role

This is a new post within the organisation, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Asset/Property Management professional with excellent people skills to lead our Asset Management and Compliance services. This is a leadership, technical and compliance role and we will be looking to you to ensure that our stock portfolio meets all legislative and regulatory requirements around building safety and property compliance. You will lead the teams delivering our procurement and asset management contracts and services, ensuring that customers are engaged in the process and that our repairs and planned investment services meet customers’ needs and expectations. This individual will be commercially astute and ensure all services can demonstrate value for money. The role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is a critical role within our leadership team. It is an influential role to help us achieve our organisation vision, current and future business and operational plans and performance targets.

About You

You should apply for this opportunity if you have had prior experience in a leadership role and are able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the legislation, regulatory and building safety/compliance related requirements as well as managing responsive and planned programme works. You will have experience of maintaining and developing data within asset management systems to support investment, and disinvestment decisions as well as developing portfolio appraisal systems and processes. You will be able to evidence how your actions and decisions made a positive outcome on customer satisfaction.

You will naturally possess strong data analysis, programming, and contract management skills, alongside excellent management and leadership skills that bring the best out in people, as you will recognise that success depends on the teams you manage.
